Does new game mean better game?
I have been playing Guild Wars since the game came out last year. Its been a fun game and has kept me entertained. But lately, I've become more and more inactive, simply because its rather boring. I've done the pvp,ab, pve, pvp, everything the game has to offer. But I feel guild wars is lacking a few things that could make it alot better. Things that would make the game funner and overal easier to play. The point I'm trying to make across here is, if they don't get a few things straighted out in Nightfall, I won't be playing the game anymore. Just because theres a new map doesn't mean its going to be any funner.
The game really needs to take it a step further, make it like a living world, as you see in oblivion and WoW, only give it that GW feeling. No auction houses makes selling hard, and unless you use a website (guru) for selling, it usually takes alot of time out of the game. The game needs to get giant battles going, if it works with 12vs12, I'm positive they could make it work with 40vs40. Quests are boring, that needs to change as well. The games cap doesnt need to change, and the pvp fundamentals are excellent, they need to ADD ON to this, as they did somewhat with PvP in factions.
I just hope Nightfall does what the game devolpers say they are going to do, make it a very fun MMORPG. I know more and more people who are switching to WoW because of the great updates and a zillion things to do. Now, of course they pay for this, and its worth the money. But if we are getting new games every 6 months, I don't want just new maps with 2 new decent classes added. It needs to become unique, and I feel thats something it truly hasn't achieved yet (besides the free play).
